Access Databases and the Web. You can place your Access database on the web. There are two techniques:
1 - Change your tables to be MySQL / SQL Server / Sharepoint tables. Change your database to link to these tables on startup (optional but advised). Move your MySQL / SQL Server database to a web server. Add a driver to your workstation to interact with MySQL or SQL Server, whichever you chose. Call us for help on this topic if you need.
Your Access Database will now be available on the Web.
(note: we charge $50/month hosting of your MySQL Database. We no longer host SQL Server databases)
2 - Perform the above steps to migrate your tables. Build a website (PHP, Angular, ASP.net, Java, etc) to perform the tasks of your Access Forms/Reports. You'll most likely need to migrate your queries to stored procedures/views. You'll also probably get involved with advanced stored procedures/java script to emulate any automated processes in your database
(note: we can give you a quote for this service)
3 - DO NOT use Drop Box or One Drive (or similar cloud service). Yes this will work up to a point that your Access database becomes corrupt or the data of one user steps onto the data of another user
(You can see our post here on why: Access Database Cloud)
